| Job Information | A global supplier of integrated subsea, trenching and marine support vessels, and associated services, our client has just completed a major corporate restructuring. As a result they have decided to move their global headquarters to London. They now seek to appoint two, business critical, finance positions both of which offer excellent long term career prospects. This newly created position will be globally responsible for all financial accounting and internal control policies and procedures. Deputising for the CFO, your functional reports will include the Divisional Controllers and the Heads of IT from each of the company’s main operating divisions. Probably a Chartered Accountant with a Big 4 background, or possibly Certified, to date you will have enjoyed a successful international career. Your outstanding financial accounting skills will be a given, but equally important will be your understanding of International GAAP and of accounting for foreign currency exchange. Previous experience in the oil fields services sector would be a distinct advantage. Naturally, your interpersonal skills and personal integrity will match the high levels of your accounting skills.
